My name is Ms Ariel Marie, also known as the starving artist of my family. I'm an aspiring author, but to put food on the table I've decided to dive into the awesomeness that is game art and design. Besides the fact that I'm extremely hesitant to actually apply for a college, I work, sit around my house and play video games, doodle to my heart's content, and write out a billion and a half roleplays that are probably in need of my attention. Total procrastinator, and I'm damn good at it. I suppose eventually I'll get a picture of myself up in here... maybe.

A lot has happened this past month, between applying for school (oh gawd school) and my birthday and selling my soul to Square Enix - oh yes, it's been quite the month of May. My birthday was May 2 and I treated myself to a new tablet and Final Fantasy XIV :D I know, I spoiled myself. My tablet should be here in a week or so and as for Final Fantasy XIV - I think I may have sold my soul to Square Enix. The scanner has been found, more art supplies have been bought, and now all I have to do is scan!
Alas, my tablet, she is broken T-T so I can't show off my terrible CG, but hopefully this scanner can scan in my watercolor and sketches better than I can take pictures of them o-O
With that said, I should probably stop being the world's biggest procrastinator and get to work with those scans... after a nap :D

Moved In - Procrastination Is Go!

So me and my two fantasmic roommates are all together and "moved in" to our new apartment, and well before that I began thinking I need to do something besides work and stuff my computer with nonsense writing. I need to stuff my computer with nonsense art too - I want to go to college for game art, and while I realize I'm not anywhere near close to awesome with drawing, I feel the need that practice will make me better.
